Lil’ Bow Wow was one of the biggest Hip Hop/R’n’B stars in the early 2000s but the rapper, who now prefers to be called Bow Wow, has gone quiet over the years
At the age of 13, Bow Wow found fame after he was discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg,
His debut album Beware of Dog was a commercial success selling over two million copies in the United States and includes singles like “Bow Wow (That’s My Name)” and “Bounce with Me.” Two more albums followed (Doggy Bag and Unleashed) but were not as successful.
He later dropped the ‘Lil’ from his stage name after his film debut in Like Mike in 2002.
In 2005, Bow Wow was at the peak of his career following the release of his fourth album called Wanted. The album achieved platinum status and contained two of his biggest singles to date; “Let Me Hold You” featuring Omarion and “Like You” featuring Ciara.
