American media personality Jeannie Mai has denied accusations made by her estranged husband, Jeezy accusing her of “gatekeeping” their daughter from him.
JEANNIE MAI CONCERENED FOR HER CHILD’S SAFETY
In a new court filling Jeannie Mai has refute all claims made by her daughter father insinuating that she is deliberately keeping her daughter, Monaco Jenkins from spending time with her father, Jay “Jeezy” Wayne Jenkins.
In the court document, Jeannie lawyers shared her concerns for her child’s safety, specifically pointing out concerns of the rapper’s firearms
“It is essential to clarify that Ms. Jenkins’ insistence on reasonable safety measures being put in place, such as safely securing and locking away all firearms that have been unsecured in the past, as well as having familiarity and properly trained caregivers is absolutely not gatekeeping, but rather a responsible effort to prioritize their daughter’s well-being”, the court filing read.
The filling continued: “These requests are grounded in Ms. Jenkins’ genuine concern for the parties’ daughter’s safety and security, especially when under the care of others and traveling across the country, and are reasonable protective measures, not an attempt to restrict Mr. Jenkins’ access to their daughter”.
IS JEEZY A CHEATER?
Earlier this month Jeannie Mai hinted that her estranged husband Jeezy cheated on her during their marriage.
The former The Real host’s lawyer further pointed out an infidelity clause in their prenup, which alluded that Jeezy indeed was cheating on his wife throughout their marriage.
“Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party …”, Jeannie’s lawyer noted.
