Shady! Ex Kaizer Chiefs star trolls Khune over alcohol suspension

While many fans of Itumeleng Khune are encouraging the soccer star to keep his head up amid his suspension from Kaizer Chiefs, one former player has chosen to publicly troll his colleague.

Valery Nahayo – who played for Amakhosi for several years – left a shady comment on the former captain’s Instagram account.

Last week, Kaizer Chiefs announced that Itu had been suspended and stripped of his captaincy after allegedly reporting to training while under the influence of alcohol. He has been advised to seek professional help.

EX KAIZER CHIEFS TROLLS ITU
On Sunday, 17 December, Itumeleng Khune returned to Instagram after taking a break over his latest Kaizer Chiefs scandal.

Despite the career blow, the 36-year-old player has vowed to remain positive. Posting a picture of him continuing his gruelling physical regime, he shared: “Train hard until hard becomes easy. Your body is an investment, so invest wisely”.

Under the post, many fans shared encouraging words to the father-of-two.

But one comment – from former Kaizer Cheifs plater Valery Nahayo – stood out. The Burundian-born player – who played at Amakhosi from 2008 – 2011, poked fun at Itu’s drinking allegations.

He commented: “Bro, can we have a drink before training tomorrow?” The player added a beer and laughing-face emoji to his comment.

One follower commented: “As a former player, you can do better.”

Another added: “You didnt have anything better to say?”
