As mentioned above, Shozi gave birth to a baby girl in early 2022 and she and Bandile made the announcement in a series of videos for BET Africa. Neither party has shared images of the baby, nor have they revealed her name. Shoiz did, however, confirm in a few interviews that she had a daughter.


 

 

 

She got her start in radio
Despite obtaining a qualification in public relations, Nomalanga cut her teeth in community radio before snagging a coveted job at Gagasi FM where she worked for years, most notably alongside The Shady Lurker, also known as DJ Warras (Warrick Stock).

She then went on to pursue a career in acting and did a brief stint onhe works for BET Africa
Often dubbed the face of BET Africa, she joined the channel in November 2018 as a presenter for content both on air and on the ground.

Where many fail to maintain a long-term gig, Shozi is still going strong five years later.

In addition to hosting Martell’s Blue Swift launch, she also MC’d the screening for Thando Thabethe’s Unstoppable Thabooty reality show in early April, so, at first glance, Nomalanga Shozi is on a roll.
