Tyla is teaching South African girls that you don’t have to change anything

Talented South African songstress Tyla Laura Seethal is one of the country’s fastest growing musicians. Her hit song Water first went viral on social media app TikTok and sent app users into a frenzy. Not long afterward, she released a remix of the song with US superstar Travis Scott. And now she has an album on the way and is already getting a good reaction.

In fact, she recently got a thumbs up from music executive Nota Baloyi who rarely has something good to say.

In fact, she is doing so well that she recently received a compliment from one of the most argumentative people on X — Nota Baloyi.

The music exec is famous for his rants and harsh critique of local and international stars. It would appear, however, that she has managed to impress him.

“Tyla is teaching South African girls that you don’t have to change anything about yourself to make your mark on the world… She’s teaching me, you & Thuso the power of authenticity. Give her that R38million already, she earned it,” he tweeted.
