In a post on Instagram, Mome shared a picture of herself with her husband as she spoke about forgiveness and expressed her love for him.
“Forgiveness comes when you stop visiting the past especially when you know what you had to go through, when you stop allowing yourself to visit the past. Each time you replay what happened in your mind you give it life instead of allowing the pain to ease, for the broken part of you to heal,” she wrote.
“The disappointment will fade, what was done is done but what you can do is rewrite your story. take those lessons and turn them into your greatest blessings by turning your wounds into wisdom and strength. Turn your pain into power for your life … I love you Tol A$$ Mo.”
Last week, Mo also confirmed that he had rekindled his love with Mome.
“We have had so many up and downs, but Love conquers all I’m so blessed to have you back in my life I’m truly grateful for Gods mercy upon our marriage. Till death do us part forever and always love you #mahlanguville,” he captioned a photo of the two of them together.
During his interview with broadcaster DJ Fresh on his YouTube podcast show WAW What A Week in July this year, Mo revealed that he had walked out of his marriage because black women “traumatised” him.
“It’s me that’s walking away, Fresh… I am f**ken traumatised. I am traumatised by black women. I’m traumatised to a point that I don’t want to have a black wife again.
“I even said that in my interview that when I was making love to my wife I’d get flashbacks of this woman [Lerato Moloi’s] face in my mind.
“I need to heal…I need time by myself,” he said.
