BREAKING: MOTHER AND SON BRUTALLY MURDERED IN ALBERTON
A 34-year-old woman and her nine-year-old son were murdered in their home in Alberton.

According to police spokesperson Lt. Col. Mavela Masondo, a 37-year-old garden worker has already been arrested and charged with the murders.

The worker was still in the house when the woman’s partner came home at around 18:00 on Monday.

The accident happened on Monday afternoon when the conveyance transporting them underground snapped.

CRISIS UNFOLDS AS OVER 60,000 CONTAINERS REMAIN STRANDED AT SEA
More than 60,000 containers are stuck at sea waiting to be offloaded at South Africa’s biggest port amid gridlock blamed on bad weather and equipment failures that is damaging the poor economy, according to business and political groups.

Dozens of vessels are waiting outside the southeastern port of Durban, which handles about 60 percent of the country’s container traffic, according to South African Association of Freight Forwarders (SAAFF).

ESKOM TO IMPLEMENT STAGE 6 LOAD SHEDDING INTO DECEMBER
Eskom said load shedding will be implemented on TUESDAY. Here is your updated schedule.

The power utility said in order to replenish emergency reserves, Stage 4 load shedding will continue to be implemented until 20:00 today. Thereafter, Stage 6 load shedding will be implemented from 20:00 until 05:00 on Wednesday, followed by Stage 4 load shedding from 05:00 until 20:00.

The pattern of implementing Stage 4 from 05:00 until 20:00 and Stage 6 from 20:00 until 05:00 will be repeated daily until Saturday morning.
