RIP: Lebohang Lettie Mpyana from DiepCity has died

South African lovers and fans of the popular comedian were shocked to hear the sad news of their beloved Khelina.

On Wednesday, 1 November, social media platforms were set abuzz. This comes after the news broke that the actress and comedian Lebohang Lettie Mpyana has passed away.

The 34-year-old actress from Mmotong in Limpopo was popularly known for her role as Khelina on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela DiepCity.

The family spokesman, T Mpyana, also shared a mini statement on her Facebook page telling people to refrain from tagging and posting on her account.

Iconic talk show host Felicia welcomes Ringo’s new music deal

On Wednesday, 13 September presenter and talk-show host Felicia Mabuza-Suttle took to her timelines and congratulated South African Afro-pop singer Ringo Madlingozi wholeheartedly after he secured a huge deal with Sony Music.

Minnie Dlamini hints at custody battle with Quinton

South African media personality Minnie Dlamini shocked South Africa when she revealed that she was getting a divorce after only three years of marriage. The star split from her American-born husband Quinton Jones in September last year and has since opened up about her divorce a number of times.

And now she has headed online to share a rather cryptic posts about babies being forcefully separated from their mothers. A post which many believe could be about a custody battle.

“After months of separation and consultation with our family and a counsellor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce,” wrote Soccer Zone presenter Minnie Dlamini in September last year.

“We remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our son.” She also asked for privacy as speculations about what brought the divorce started going viral on social media.

Sannah Mchunu and Lerato Mvelase score roles in ‘Icala’

confirms that the former Isibaya actors Lerato Mvelase and Sannah Mchunu will star alongside Athie Cwele and Velile Makhoba in he upcoming Mzansi Magic series.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reveals that Mvelase will lead the cast of the 13-part series which is to premiere on Monday, 9 October at 8pm.

Shirley Adonisi, who is director of local entertainment channels at M-Net says viewers can expect an overload of emotions.
