Celebrity sangoma Gogo Maweni introduced her new podcast in a rather weird way that has since thrust her into top trends.

The bubbly celebrity sangoma took to Instagram to reveal the news of her new podcast, which will soon air.

However, she did not reveal when the podcast will debut but made it known that it seeks to educate people about witchcraft. Announcing the news, she shared a series of photos, and one of the now-viral photos has since set social media abuzz.

She dropped a photo while posing next to dried skeletons. The bubbly sangoma captioned the photo – “Podcast on witchcraft loading 🧙🏾‍♀️ the whole point is to expose, educate n give solutions.”

No doubt the photo has since gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped.

The family of the Limpopo-born comedienne Lebogang ‘Lettie’ Mpyana confirmed that the Diep City actress passed away.

The family spokesperson T Mpyana released a statement on Thursday morning, 2 November on the actress’s Facebook account which read:

“It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our daughter Lebogang Mpyana. Lebo died after a short illness. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers in this time of bereavement. Memorial service and funeral service details will follow”.

Though women are often the pillars of churches, senior positions are still dominated by men, but not in Church By The Valley, where actress and preacher Innocent Sadiki will head her own branch from September 3.

The actress and her husband, also a preacher, announced that Innocent would head one of the church’s new branches after she was appointed senior pastor at the weekend.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Innocent said while she always knew she was “called to lead”, the promotion took her by surprise.

“It’s difficult to answer this question because I have no doubt God has called me, but to lead a church is different for me. God too“This is why I have the annual conference ‘Beauty and the Blessed’, to engage women with provoking conversations with the aim to promote a shift in mindset and bring to light new approaches for mitigating the societal challenges facing women in this era of our nation.”

Innocent said she gets her mandate from the Bible.
