A week after being suspended for allegedly “drinking on duty,” Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune has broken his social media silence with a message of hope.
The veteran soccer star made headlines recently amid claims of misconduct. According to reports, he has been suspended indefinitely.
In an Instagram Story, Itumleng Khune shared his first post since news of his suspension.
The 36-year-old reposted a message of encouragement from his pastor friend.
It read: “It is a season, and God is with you.”
The Kaizer Chiefs captain’s wife, Sphelele, has also posted messages of motivation on her IG Stories. In it was an affirmation of faith about “life during storms.”
