Sifiso Ncwane’s mother says she has disowned Ayanda Ncwane as her daughter

Fikile Ncwane, the mother of late gospel musician Sifiso Ncwane, says his widow, Ayanda Ncwane, does not want her to see his children – Sunday World reports. The Kulungile Baba hitmaker, who passed away in December 2016, shares two sons with Ayanda – Ngcweti and Mawrnza Ncwane. Fikile told the publication that she has given up trying to get Ayanda to allow her grandchildren to visit them.

“I also haven’t seen my grandchildren [for a long time]. I miss them but I have no access to them. I tried to reach out to Ayanda but it proved to be impossible. I have now given up, God will deal with her, ” Fikile said.

She further told the publication that she and her daughter-in-law have been at loggerheads for years and nothing changed after her son’s death. She said the situation became worse when Ayanda – who was on the first season of Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) – filed a protection order against her.In 2015, when Sifiso was still alive, Fikile accused her son of not taking care of her financially, saying she is living in poverty.

This came after the singer surpised his ‘spritual father’ with a Mercedes Benz GL 63 AMG which set him back an apparent R1.9 million. However, her claims were denied by Sifiso who accused the media of twisting his mother’s words during an interview with Vuma FM, saying he built her a house, furnished it and has been taking care of her.

A few months later, The Citizen reported that the musician’s mother slammed Ayanda, accusing her of telling doctors not to show her the postmortem report.

In response, Ayanda rubbished the claim, saying: “If family members want to know something they know what to do. I will not disrespect my husband and publish his post-mortem report.” She further said that after Sfiso’s death she immediately sent a car to fetch his mother so that they could “do everything together”.
