One of Ngizwe Mchunu’s wives wants a second husband

Lindiwe Khuzwayo, who is former Ukhozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu’s second wife, shocked many on social media when she said that she wants another husband.

Mchunu, who is also known as Inkosi YamaBhinca, has three wives in total. His first wife is Siphelele Nxumalo, while his third wife is musician Nqobile “Floda” Mthimkhulu.Taking to TikTok on Monday, 9 October, Lindiwe aired her grieviance and accused Ngizwe of neglecting her. She also claimed he was not supporting her ancestral calling to heal people and it was weighing heavy on her.

“I don’t understand why we don’t get support from men when we want to pursue our calling. For a long time, I’ve been crying and telling you, his followers, amabhinca, that I am not well.

“But it’s so sad that my calls have fallen on deaf ears. I’ve been completely ignored. I feel like I’m being made into a housewife. I’ve said that my ancestors are very angry. They want me to heal people. I’m called to help people from all walks of life. If I don’t accept this calling, my ancestors will kill me,” she explained.

Lindiwe further said that she has informed her husband that she wants another husband.

“I told Macingwane [Ngizwe’s clan name] that I want to take a second husband because he doesn’t support my calling. For years I tried to hide it. I’m even depressed. It’s so sad when I don’t get support from my husband because my gift is big, and I’m sure I can heal people.

“I’m emotionally drained. I’m exhausted of talking to him,” she said.NGIZWE MCHUNU’S CASE
Meanwhile, Ngizwe – who also presented the traditional music show Roots on SABC1 – appeared at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court last month for allegations of inciting violence during the July 2021 unrest.

At the time, Ngizwe publicly called for former president Jacob Zuma, who had been arrested for being in contempt of court, be released. He was arrested after he was accused of being the instigator of the riots. He is also accused for being in contravention of the Disaster Management Act.

Sunday World reported that the matter was postponed for sentencing.
