MAMA JOY WELCOMES SPORTS, ARTS, AND CULTURE MINISTER ZIZI KODWA IN PARIS
Sports, Arts, and Culture Minister Zizi Kodwa is back in France to be one of the spectators behind the Springboks as they fly the South African flag high in Paris once more in the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The South African national rugby team is getting closer and closer in the tournament to become World Cup champions. And, if they win Saturday’s game against England, they will qualify for the final.

 

Behind them are millions of South Africans anticipating to watch them play this evening. Several celebrities from South Africa including MorningLIVE anchor Leanne Manas, radio personality Thando Thabethe, Sports anchor Robert Marawa, media personality Siv Ngesi, and others have packed up and headed to Paris to watch the semi-final game live at the stadium. Sports, Arts, and Culture Minister Zizi Kodwa has also announced his arrival in Paris on his timelines. On Friday, he was welcomed by none other than Mama Joy after landing in France.

“I have arrived in Paris to back the Springboks as they take on England in the World Cup semi-finals,” Kodwa said.

Mega sports fan Mama Joy has been spotted at a number of World Cups, SABC Sport reported. She attended the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, and was recently spotted in France at this year’s Rugby World Cup. With her enormous support, Mama Joy has since been described as our very own mascot by several sports fans on social media.
