DR FEZILE MKHIZE REPLACES ACTOR?
Zimoja reports that Dr Fezile Mkhize, who starred in Adulting season one has reportedly replaced actor Rebaone Kgosimore who was allegedly fired by Generations: The Legacy.
A source from the SABC1 soapie tells the publication that it was not easy to replace the beloved character, but Dr Mkhize is up for the challenge.
“With his impressive credentials and magnetic personality, he is sure to become a fan-favourite in no time. He is both handsome and talented. I am sure fans will enjoy Dr Mkhize,” adds the source.
Another source reveals that Dr Mkhize has already signed his contract and started filming for his latest character and he will start appearing in December.
It is believed the former Top Billing presenter and Adulting actor was added to the cast to captivate the female fans because he is easy on the eye.
“They wanted someone who is as equally talented and both talented…he was the perfect candidate,”.
‘GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY’: REBAONE KGOSIMORE FIRED?
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela announced earlier this month that Generations: The Legacy ended actor Rebaone Kgosimore’s contract.
“Generations The Legacy has let go of the actor who plays Paul Moroka Jr in the SABC1 soapie. There has been some complaints from viewers about his acting, but it’s not clear if that’s the reason the show decided to drop,” said Mphela
The Citizen reported in March that Kgosimore has joined the soapie as a playboy, lover, shrewd businessman, and scion of the mighty Moroka family as Paul Moroka Jnr.
The Tswana actor revealed to the publication that he was over the moon and ecstatic to join the SABC1 soapie.
“I have grown so much and I’ve only been part of the show for a month. I’m hoping viewers can enjoy the ups and downs, and twists and turns. Viewers can expect to see a black man as they’ve never seen a black man before!,” said Kgosimore.
The actor joined the soapie after Musa Ngema’s exit, who played fan-favourite character Mazwi Moroka.
