‘Disappointed in her’: Lerato Mvelase’s sheer SAFTA outfit stuns SA

South African actress Lerato Mvelase is among many local celebrities who attended the South African Film and Television Awards which took place on Saturday evening, 30 September, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand. Footage from her red carpet appearance has gone viral as locals discussed whether or not it was at all appropriate.

LERATO MVELASE’S SAFTA LOOK GETS TONGUES WAGGING
For many local actors, filmmakers and TV stars, all roads led to Midrand for the 17th annual South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas17).

The theme for the night was “Our stories flow together” and after three years of virtual ceremonies due to the Covid pandemic, celebs made sure to show up and out.
