A Relative’s Ordeal: On Multiple Assault By Reality TV Star

In a shocking revelation, a close relative of South African rapper and TV personality Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye has come forward with disturbing accusations of repeated abuse. While we cannot disclose her identity due to legal reasons, her account of alleged assaults by Maarohanye paints a troubling picture of his alleged behavior between 2017 and 2018.

The relative, who remained silent for some time, finally decided to speak out against Maarohanye after his ex-girlfriend, Amanda du-Pont, filed a case against him. She hopes that by sharing her story, other women who may have suffered abuse at the hands of the artist will also come forward and report their experiences to the police.

According to the police statement seen by a source, one of the alleged incidents occurred when the relative visited Maarohanye’s recording studio in Bryanston, north of Johannesburg, to collaborate on a song. However, a month later, while in the company of a friend, things took a violent turn. She described the ordeal, stating, “Jub Jub squeezed me so painfully, and it was hurting. He slapped me in the face, and I had his fingers imprinted on my face after he slapped me.”

Another incident transpired at Electromode studios in Johannesburg when Maarohanye allegedly phoned and threatened her, demanding her presence at the studio. Fearing for her safety, she complied with his demands but was met with further abuse. She recounted, “Before she could get there, he grabbed her, choked her, and threatened to kill her.”

The relative’s ordeal continued during a visit to the set of the “Real Talk with Anele Mdoda” show at Steyn City in 2017. According to the papers, He shouted at her and later assaulted her because she had not yet changed into her performance attire.
