Businesswoman and Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) Nonku Williams is recovering after going under the knife.
NONKU WILLIAMS’ SURGERY UPDATE
The mother-of-three recently gave her fans an update as she heals at home, saying the pain is unbearable but she is grateful that she has support.
“Thankful to be back home, but the pain is almost unbearable … feels like I’ve been run over by a bus. Mixed emotions of sadness, excitement, and anxiety are what I’m experiencing, but I’m grateful to my wonderful surgeon Klutch Plastic Surgery who keeps checking in and assuring me everything I’m feeling is normal🙂 I see the light at the end of the tunnel,” the reality TV star wrote.‘I MADE IT’
Nonku revealed to her fans on Wednesday, 6 September, that she was going for liposuction targeted at her back, tummy, arms and thighs.
A day after surgery, she offered an update: “I made it… God is being so good.
“Surgery went super well… I had the best team of doctors at [the] operating room. I’m feeling groggy, a bit nauseous and a bit of pain and swelling for now, as to be expected, but the meds are putting me on a natural high,” she said.Whilst in hospital, she was visited by her three children; Nothile, Phendulile and Musawakhe; her mother, Niniza “The Queen” Ngcobo; and fellow RHOD star and bestie Jojo Robinson, who is no stranger to cosmetic surgery. In an interview with Carol Ofori on East Coast Radio in April, Jojo disclosed that she has undergone “maybe 20 plus” surgeries altogether.
“I don’t think I can count, like I would have to literally have to sit and count them out. But all together maybe 20+. Major surgeries maybe six or seven. So, my first surgery was a plain breast augmentation… where they just cut under the boob, they didn’t do the lift, they just put the boobs in,” she said.
