‘Generations’ was the platform that launched her into stardom. After her successful stint on ‘Generations,’ she took on a new challenge by joining the cast of ‘Isidingo’ as Lorraine Dhlomo. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. A disagreement with a line producer led to her departure from the show.

However, Tina’s talent shone through, and she made her mark as Eve Sisulu in the e.tv sitcom ‘Madam & Eve.’ Her versatility as an actress continued to impress audiences as she ventured into shows like ‘Khululeka,’ ‘Charlie Jade,’ ‘Montana,’ ‘Chandies,’ ‘Stokvel,’ and the second season of ‘Intersexions.’

A COLORFUL CAREER
Tina didn’t limit herself to television. She also ventured into feature films, showcasing her acting prowess in movies like ‘Oddball Hall,’ ‘The Bird Can’t Fly,‘ ‘I Now Pronounce You Black and White,’ ‘Beyond Return,’ and ‘Wedding.’

Her talent knows no bounds, transcending from the small screen to the big screen.

Tina Jaxa’s acting journey doesn’t stop there. She’s graced the theatre stage with her presence, taking on roles in productions like ‘Skewe Sirkel,’ directed by Marthinus Basson; ‘Rygrond,’ directed by Charles Fourie; and ‘Soweto,’ directed by Phyllis Klotz.

PERSONAL LIFE AND LEGACY
Her ability to adapt to various performance platforms has solidified her status as a versatile actress. After a hiatus, Tina made a triumphant return to the small screen in 2017, debuting on E.tv’s ‘Rhythm City’ as Andiswa, a small-time criminal entangled with David Genaro.

However, their marriage eventually ended in divorce. Tina’s personal life, much like her career, has seen its ups and downs, but her resilience and talent continue to shine.
