‘The River’ star Lunga Mofokeng bids farewell to Andile

Talented actor Lunga Mofokeng, who is known for his role as Andile Dikana in 1Magic’s telenovela The River opens up about leaving the show.

TshisaLIVE reports that the actor Lunga Mofokeng took to his social media to announce that he’s shot his final scenes as Andile Dikana in The River.

Mofokeng thanked production company, Tshedza Pictures and fans of the show for supporting him for six seasons.

“When one door closes another opens right? We’re officially done shooting. Thank you to @tshedzapictures for the opportunity. Thank you to @dstvza @1magictv for blessing the people with our great work week and week out.”

He adds: “Lastly, thank you to you The River fans/supporters. Y’all made us want to come to work every day. Until we meet again,” said Mofokeng on Instagram.

DStv revealed in February 2023 that 1Magic’s most-watched telenovela The River is ending after six seasons.
