Umkhokha: The Curse’ is the most-watched telenovela on DStv

The latest figures from the Television Audience Measurement (TAM) by the Broadcasting Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA) reveal that Umkhokha: The Curse is now the most-watched telenovela on DStv.

BRCSA July 2023 figures also reveal that Mzansi Magic’s drama series Shaka Ilembe is the most-watched TV show on DStv with 828 000 viewers while Umkhokha: The Curse is the most-watched telenovela on DStv with 741 994 viewers.

The July figures also reveal that Gomora is now the second-most-watched telenovela with 721 546, followed by Gqeberha: The Empire with 700 317.

Belinda Davids… Whitney Houston impersonator returns to Mzansi

The performer also told the publication that she is proud she of the progress she has made with the show.

“The reason why this show has been going on for so long and I travel the world is because people miss her [Houston], and people still want her to be here. And you see it and you feel it. You know, because this kind of music does not exist so much today. After all, it seems that Jub Jub and Moja Love CEO Aubrey Tau have kissed up and made up.

Musician Nathi Mankayi : ‘Praying in English as a black person isn’t powerful

Talented artist Nathi Mankayi believes that God doesn’t answer black people’s prayers when they don’t use their mother tongue.The musician Nathi Mankayi, revealed on King David’s Podcast that God never answers black people’s prayers because of the way they pray.

Mankayi added that apart from benefiting from apartheid, white people are more progressive than black people because of how they use what they have.
