13 Years After Michael Jackson Died, See What His Kids Look Like

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a decade since Michael Jackson’s death. His three children—Prince, Paris, and Blanket—were rarely teenagers when he passed away. They’ve all moved out and established themselves as successful musicians in their own right. But even when they’re both really busy, they never stay away for long. In a recent interview, Prince revealed the secrets to maintaining their close bond.

Prince thinks it’s crucial for the Jackson children to make time for one another even though they all have their own social and professional lives. Prince, the eldest of Michael Jackson’s three children, has said that his father’s advice is what helps him maintain a close relationship with his younger brothers and sister.

Prince says his dad gave him the responsibility of making sure his siblings get along. He says, “Because I’m the oldest, my father would constantly remind me that I have to look after the group and that I have to be the leader and lead by example.” My siblings, though, honestly—they picked up the slack that I, tragically, had left behind following his passing and our reintegration into the “real world.”

He says they all put forth the same amount of effort to keep in touch now. “There doesn’t seem to be a ‘I’m the older brother’ hierarchy among us right now.” “We’re all siblings, and we’re kind of on the same level,” he explains. My brother and sister are both very capable people, but I lack the same all-around abilities that they do. They always make a point to tell me nice things like that.

Paris and Prince Jackson have joined forces as business partners.

The two eldest Jackson children have just found common ground and begun working together. Together, Paris (the performer) and Prince (the producer) are working on music. Recently, they discussed their latest project with ABC.

“I think I’d love to do that again in the sense that I’ll manage the visuals and she’ll handle the music,” Prince said. Any time you get that kind of intellectual property, that kind of project as a creative person, it just makes the process so much simpler, and on top of that, because she and I have such a terrific personal relationship, it just makes being on set that much more pleasant. “My sister’s music has such a cinematic quality to it, and it’s so raw because it comes from a place of genuine passion.”
