Former The Wife actor Mondli Makhoba recently took to social media to praise actress Khabonina Qubeka for her portrayal as Queen Ntombazi in Mzansi Magic’s series Shaka Ilembe.The actor Mondli Makhoba, who plays the role of Ngomane in Shaka Ilembe gushed over talented actress Khabonina Qubeka, who plays the role of Queen Ntombazi.

 

 

 

Makhoba recalled her roles on Isidingo: The need. Generations: The Legacy and remembers meeting Qubeka for the first time at Bomb Productions in a long pre-production of Shaka iLembe.

“I remember her on set of Shaka iLembe, the loudness in the car from set to base. But the same loudness is heard in her portrayal of Queen Ntombazi. Today, I want to say thank you Khabonina Q for how you approached Ntombazi. I am thankful her spirit chose you. She comes alive in you. She is calm, sure and loving to her children no matter what,” he wrote.

Queen Ntombazi is mother to the great Ndwandwe King Zwide kaLanga’s (played by Wiseman Ncube). She was a powerful and enigmatic, feared by others as a witch.

She dreams of building an empire and uses her formidable intellect and cunning to fight for the prosperity of her people, according to DStv.NMLedwabaCorporate: “Ntombazi had dark energy for sure, however, she mastered the law of energy vibration and the law of attraction to get what she wanted ALL THE TIME.
