Wealthy Joburg ladies open up about loving to spend big bucks in the Mommy Club

The Mommy Club has gained a lot of viewership since it began airing.

South African’s noticed how the wealthy Joburg ladies enjoy spending big bucks on their children.

The show follows five Johannesburg yummy mummies: Mpumi Mophatlane, Happy Simelane, Tshego Adewale, Nunurai Mudarikwa and Ratile Mabitsela.

The women do drama with a capital D, serve glam looks that rival Kim Kardashian’s, spill more tea than they drink in England and battle mommy wars that will have you questioning your own parenting style.

In the first few episodes of the show, it was revealed the 34-year-old businesswoman lost her husband, Mduduzi, in a car crash, leaving her to raise their three young kids alone. On top of that she lost millions after a deal went south.

But Happy hasn’t let the traumatic events of the past few years prevent her from living her best life. She’s holding her head high and has devoted herself to her three girls, Tiisetso “Titi” (15), Tshire (12) and Paris (2).

“My babies mean the world to me,” she says.

Like most moms, she wants to give her kids everything life has to offer.

On one occasion in the show, Titi rang up a R10 000 shopping bill. For Happy, it was a small price to pay for her daughter’s joy.
