Pearl Thusi lost her mother on 14 July 2004. In a lengthy post, the Queen Sono actress pulled on her social media followers’ heart strings when she opened up about missing her mom. In the post, the usually bubbly media personality was evidently broken-hearted as she wondered all kinds of questions about her late mother.
“Lost you on this day 19 years ago. And I always wonder, what would you think of me? What would your relationship with your grandkids be? What would you look like now? Will I ever see you again? Are you ok?” Thusi wrote.
Thusi wore her heart on her sleeve and spoke about some of the difficulties of living without her mother. She got candid about not having her mother to turn to when she feel sad, alone, and defeated.
“When my heart is broken, I still think of you first. I’ve somehow convinced myself you’d know how to mend it. When I feels like the entire world is against me, I wish I could call the one person I know [who] loves me unconditionally. You. When I don’t know where to turn or what to do- I still think of you,” she added in the letter. The stunning actress and presenter hoped her mother was okay. In the meantime, Thusi said she will continue trying her best to work through the pain of losing her mother.
“Maybe one day I can turn the worst day of my life [in]to something meaningful. Until then – on this day I will hide away and work through these emotions of why you had to leave. And why I must continue going without you. It will never make sense. But I will never stop loving and missing you. I really hope you’re ok, wherever you are 🤍,” Thusi wrote.
