He also has extensive experience in the South African radio and television industries. Peter Ndoro’s family originally hails from Zimbabwe, but they moved to England where he was born.
Peter Ndoro, at the age of fifteen, returned to Zimbabwe. There, he made up his mind to become a radio broadcaster for real. This person went to school in Harare, Zimbabwe. After completing his degree, he spent six months working for Zimbabwean Radio. After moving to South Africa, he went to school for broadcasting there. Peter Ndoro’s natural accent and fluency in English earned him positions on radio and television in South African Broadcasting. Peter Ndoro used to work for KayaFM until he was hired to host the morning news on SABC.
People were so taken aback by his accent because it sounded so foreign to them that they forgot to express their surprise.
