Abby had been blackmailing Paul, and he had grown tired of it. He decided to confront her, so he went to practice shooting a gun that he had bought illegally. The person who sold him the gun offered to deal with Abby on his behalf, but Paul refused.

Instead, he asked the person to track her down, and they did, providing him with her current location. Paul was relieved and told his father that he was going on a business trip.

 

However, when he met with Abby, he found himself unable to shoot her. Fear took over, and Abby took advantage of the situation. She tasered him and fled before Paul regained consciousness. He was disappointed with himself and called the person who sold him the gun, explaining that things hadn’t gone as planned. Paul informed them that he was returning. When Paul arrived at home, he went to drink.
