People will always demand live entertainment for events, so having a career as a DJ can provide good job security for people with the right skills. As long as there are parties and other types of gatherings, there will be a need for live music, and DJs provide this service to meet the demand in the market.

We have so many well-known DJs in South Africa and some have even made it internationally in their careers. One of the well-known female DJs in Mzansi is Owami Mafokate. This young star started her career as a DJ when she was in grade 11 and she has been doing pretty well ever since.

 

 

Her DJing skills are unmatched and she has impressed a lot of people with her remarkable talent. Best-known by her stage name, DJ Owami, she is a gifted South African disc jockey and musician. She has become a music sensation for her outstanding skills at deejaying.

She has been exposed to music since her childhood days, because both her parents were well-known musicians back in the days. With their help, she has built her music career and she is making waves in the music industry. A lot of people feel that this young woman is being underrated, yet she does way better than most DJs that are more popular than her.

Owami Mafokate recently had a gig where she had to be a DJ for the event. She shared some of the videos from the event while DJing and a lot of people were very impressed with her work, hence they praised her for being good at what she does.
