South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, revealed that she lost her passport while at Dubai International Airport as she and her daughter Kairo Forbes were on their way to New York for a birthday trip –

 

 

 

DJ Zinhle took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that she and her daughter Kairo Forbes were on their way to the soon-to-be eight-year-old’s birthday trip. The DJ shares Kairo with slain rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. AKA, was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

So, this will be Kairo’s first birthday without her loving father. While DJ Zinhle did not reveal the location of the trip on her Stories, she previously revealed that she will be taking Kairo to New York for her eighth birthday.

The mom of two shared a photo of Kairo on her flight, which appears to be business class. A few hours later, she revealed that they were in Dubai International airport and she had lost her passport. “Kairo’s birthday trip to New York is going to be expensive. Send coins!!!” she wrote.

“My sweet girl has decided she wants to travel every year for her birthday as if there’s a birthday allowance that just drops from heaven,” she wrote.
