He was born in Seshego township, Polokwane in Limpopo Province. His family relocated to Johannesburg in Gauteng Province where he grew up in a loving and secure environment . His father worked as a police officer while his mother was a salesperson. He gives credit to his parents for raising him well to be an independent man that he is today, and he is grateful.

He studied Drama and Performing Arts at the School of Arts in Pretoria. He is kind and generous person who is very supportive and caring.
