It was an emotional moment for Dr Nandipha to reunite with her father in court. Dr Nandipha Magudumana waves and smiles at her father, Zolile Sekeleni, as they both appear in court in connection with the #ThaboBester escape. Dr Nandipha Magudumana and 5 others enter the dock. They join her father, Zolile Sekeleni and Anastassja Jansen, who are out on bail.


 

Mzansi has been feeling sorry for Dr Nandipha after she smiled and waves her hand after seeing her father at the court. Followers in social media have been sending their pitiful messages to Dr Nandi.

Adv Themba Diba representing Zolile Sekeleni makes an application to have his client excused on the next appearance due to the distance that he has to travel to come to court. Sekeleni lives in Port Edward. The court has declines #ZolileSekeleni application not to appear in court in person on August 8.

Accused number 9, Zanda Moyo abandons bail. The lawyer representing Zanda Moyo (her alleged driver) will not be applying for bail today. It’s understood he was once arrested in 2015. The prosecutor reiterates that 3 more arrests are imminent, and that police are still analysing bank statements and cellphone records.
