She was born and raised in Orlando East, Soweto in Gauteng Province to Trevor Thamsanqa Tutu and Nomaswazi Mamakoko. She is the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She had a humble upbringing and built herself a solid foundation for her career. She is intelligent and sophisticated woman who is very passionate about her career and she is doing incredibly well. She is best known for her role as Enhle on SABC 1 educational drama series Skeem Saam every weekdays.

She has won the hearts of many viewers through her good acting skills and she is gifted. She is one of the best actors in the country and she has made a mark. Her first acting role came in 2013 when she appeared in a television commercial. She landed her debut television show role when she was cast to play Claire in an episode of ekasi: Our Stories in 2014.
