Kamogelo Mphela (born 29 November 1999) is a South African dancer and vocalist better known as Kamo Mphela. She rose to fame after posting a video of herself dancing on her social media account.

She was recruited to Major League Music in 2019 and launched her EP named Twentee with the company. She has also recorded songs such as Suka Emabozen and Menemene, as well as collaborating with South African singer Busiswa on the single Sbwl and appearing on the MFR Soulz single Amanikiniki, which peaked at number one on Good Hope FM’s SA House Music Top 10 Chart.

She has also collaborated and performed with local artists such as Nadia Nakai and Killer Kau. She has appeared in amapiano songs like as Sukendleleni and Labantwana Ama Uber as a vocalist and dancer. Aside from amapiano, she has also danced to other prominent South African music genres such as Gqom, kwaito, and pantsula.

Her love of dancing began at a young age, when she accompanied her father, who worked at YFM, to events where she would perform on stage and dance, eventually leading to wider exposure through live performances. She later gained popularity by posting videos of herself dancing on Instagram.

Prior to pursuing her dancing career, she tried acting and was cast as an extra in the TV soap Isibaya, but she quickly realized that it was not for her and began performing as a dancer at gigs. Her dancing abilities earned her the title “Queen of Amapiano.”
