Sonia Mbele is reported to have landed in Hospital after suffering

Before the reality TV show ‘Real Housewives of Johannesburg’ premiered, its producer Sonia Mbele had to spend two weeks in the hospital.

Sonia Mbele, who is a producer of Real Housewives of Johannesburg and an actress in Blood & Water, reportedly ended up in the hospital after being overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, and fatigue, according to ZiMoja news.


 

The publication quoted a source who said that the ex-Generations star felt dizzy and fainted. She had to stay in the hospital for about two weeks and was released just two weeks before she went to the Real Housewives of Johannesburg launch.

“Thank God she was working from home that day, and her mother and helper were at her house, both had to spring into action.”

Mbele was still recuperating and reportedly sneaked out to her room upstairs to rest for a while during the launch. She also left the event as soon as it was over to avoid drawing attention to herself.

The show reveals the “real” lives of six cast members who live in luxury and have differences in friendships, relationships, and other events in their opulent lives is The Real Housewives of Johannesburg. It started on 1Magic, on DStv channel 103, on Friday, 19 May, News24 reported.

A press statement quoted Shirley Adonisi, who is the director of M-Net local entertainment channels, as saying, “It was our first South African foray into the international franchise, and we are so proud to bring back the drama and glamour for which the show is known.”

The season will feature six cast members, who are, radio and podcast host Lebo ‘Jojo’ Mokoena; actress Lethabo ‘LeJoy’ Mathato; Keabetswa Marema, who is a mother of three; Thobekile Mdlalosi, who is a self-made millionaire and traditional healer; Nicole Watson, who is a mom and socialite; and Mamus Koka, who is an HR administrator.
