DJ Zinhle allegedly took another employee to court over theft accusations. Zalebs learnt from Daily Sun that the said employee allegedly stole goods from her Era By DJ Zinhle store in Menlyn, valued at R96 000.

 

It is alleged that Zinhle’s jewelry store employee was arrested earlier this year for allegedly stealing products worth R96 000. Zinhle became suspicious of the business’ lack of profit and went to the store with friends to make purchases. When she asked to see the day’s earnings, the employee failed to produce any money and eventually confessed to taking R200. Further investigation led to the discovery of the stolen items at the employee’s residence.

This is the second time an employee has stolen from Zinhle, she revealed on her TV reality show The Unexpected on BET, that she was the victim of a cyber crime. The reports reported at the time that Zinhle opened a case against Phumzile Diko at the Protea Glen police department. The reports further explained that the accused was granted R5 000 bail by the Protea Glen magistrate’s court.

The 33 year old accused denied stealing allegations levelled against her by DJ Zinhle, and Drum Magazine quoted her affividit which read as follows:

“About the charges against me, I was in charge of the affairs of the complainant which included dealing with her business account. At all the multiple times relevant to the charge sheet, I deny fraud complainants and all transactions that were performed by me were at the instructions of the complainant”. The affividit read. However, Zinhle has the criminal charges her.
