This episode is heartbreaking, especially when your in-laws deny you being their makoti. The lady that recently went to Mamazala went to the show because she needs help as their in laws are denying her as their daughter-in-law. Her husband had paid lobola, but not fully when he died. Her husband did not complete the lobola and her mother said that, she is not makoti to her husband’s family since they have not completed lobola.

Apparently, her in-laws are denying her as their makoti because of this. As black people lobola is the marriage and without it unfortunately there’s no marriage in our culture. It’s sad and painful that the lady was denied in her in-laws as her husband died without completing the lobola.

 

 

 

 

Many viewers have blamed the family for being wrong after they are ganging up on this lady. Dingaan allowed to take this woman to the in-laws without her dad, even though she asked. They ganged up on her, and Dingaan allowed it. Apparently the lady is literally crying for R20 000, the husband died without a burial society yet. This lady couldn’t even wait for 6 weeks before bringing in cameras, since the husband family is still mourning the death of their son.

As men, we need to do better, we keep failing our wives and children even beyond the grave. Drafting a will can solve all this mess. I fully agree with fans on the part of not having a policy for her family, but they need to treat her better. She is hurting too, and they are too. She acknowledges that the family came through for her, but that made them see her as useless
