The 17th edition of the Metro FM Awards has returned with a bang, and it was a night to remember for music enthusiasts and celebrities alike. After a hiatus that felt like a lifetime, the award ceremony returned, and it was graced by the who’s who in music and ZAlebville. The event was hosted by radio royalty Lerato Kganyago and talented presenter Katlego Maboe.

The awards ceremony was a night of glitz and glamour, and the best in the game turned up in their best looks on the infamous black carpet. The highlight of the night was the award-winning South African rapper AKA, who walked away with four awards. To add to the excitement, AKA’s parents Tony and Lynn Forbes, as well as his daughter Kairo Forbes, were present to accept the awards on his behalf.

 

However, amidst all the excitement and celebration, there was a bit of controversy on the infamous black carpet. Enhle Mbali, a popular South African actress, arrived at the ceremony in a beautiful white dress. While some found it elegant and stunning, others felt like it was not that impressive. Some even claimed that she had gained some weight.

Adding to the controversy, others felt like Enhle Mbali did not respect the theme, which was all black, by wearing a white dress. Some people continue to criticize her dress, while others are of the opinion that she looked beautiful and that her choice of dress did not matter.
