This was expected and one can already tell that the story about actress Simphiwe Ngema has attracted a lot of attention and we were bound to have a situation where people question what she said in a statement that she released this morning.

However, there is no telling just how much damage she has done by releasing the statement because it seems like she needed more time to go through it.

Unfortunately, there is no turning back and now that she has revealed things that she cannot take back, she might need to carefully plan her next move.

As you have seen, there are people who have mentioned that the actress incriminated herself, what people do not understand is how she visited Thabo Bester in prison when the person who owed her money (Bester’s persona, Tom Mostepe) was in New York?

According to the statement, she was owed money for gigs by “Tom Motsepe”, but went to demand her money from Thabo Bester who was in prison.

People questioned this and they were able to quickly connect the dots, a few minutes after the statement was put up on Instagram. Could this be a mistake on Ngema’s part?

 

 

There are people who have mentioned that this is one way for the truth to come out and there even people who mentioned that she should have just kept to herself and hope that she is never in the position she is in right now.

It is going to take time to do some damage control if that is what she is thinking about because it does seem like she regrets releasing the statement because it was removed on Instagram.

One knows that this is getting serious when lawyers come out to say that Ngema was ill-advised, it really does not look good for her.

It seems like she was not supposed to release that statement and what makes matters even worse is the fact that she has now deleted the statement.

Unfortunately, it could have been bad no matter what she decided to do, screenshots of the statement are making rounds on social media.

Since she deleted the statement on Instagram, she has not said anything to clarify some things or say exactly why she removed the statement.
