Award-winning kwaito artist; Professor; real name Mkhonzeni Langa; is officially off the market; this after marrying his girlfriend of five years.

Known for hits like; Jezebel; Lento and Ijimaphi; Professor; celebrated his 45th birthday on 27 March; and added a cherry on top of his celebrations; by tying the knot with his fiancee; who is a nurse.

According to a source who spoke to ZiMoja; the couple did a low key Umembeso; where the bride and grooms families exchanged gifts.

The bride was described by the source; as a very shy and private person; who is not into fame; which attracted her to Professor.

The source revealed that the couple does not have any children yet. The bride hails from; Bamshell; Ndwedwe; north of Durban; in KwaZulu Natal.

According to the source; the small town came alive; when Professor and his entourage arrived to celebrate the union.

 

 

Adding that; the day was filled with laughter and hapiness; however; most of Professor’s famous friends were not in attendance.

The ceremony was attended by family and close friends; who were dressed in different traditional clothing.

Professor’s delegation consisted of businessman; actor and artist Pastor Mjosty; while his friends and family members were welcomed with loud ululations from the wedding guests.

Professor’s close friends described him as a steady man who thrives in a stable relationship. Though he is a famous musician; he has always had the same girl.

When the local newspaper tried to get a comment from the groom himself; he declined to comment.

It is heartwarming to see a famous person; starting a family because the industry is fraught with many temptations.
