South Africans unimpressed with Connie Ferguson’s Generation appearance

Over the past few weeks, South Africa has been buzzing after news broke out that Connie Ferguson would be making a return appearance on the show that broke her into the scene; and as her iconic character Karabo Moroka- but unfortunately the homecoming did not go as planned.

A lot of South Africans took to the social media streets to voice out their dissatisfaction after Karabo failed to make an impact not only by her script, but by her looks too. Before her brief cameo on Generations the legacy, the acting legend had been the envy of many women for the longevity of her youthful looks, however this time around she left a lot to be desired.

“I don’t care what anyone says but Connie has now outgrown this character, she doesn’t even have the energy for the script and worst part of all; she has shown that age is finally catching up with her” said one unsatisfied viewer.

Connie Ferguson took a brief hiatus from the acting scene, after her husband Shona Ferguson unfortunately passed away. She has since opened up about how hard it has been for her to get back into the industry as gigs are very few; and that most people are refusing to work with her- for reasons only known by them.

What are your views on the matter…has Connie Ferguson aged too much and should make way for upcoming talent, or does she still have it; and should continue entertaining us daily on screen?
