In 2004, while she was a student at the University of Pretoria studying politics and international relations, she started her radio career as a DJ. There she met Nash, with whom she later developed a rapport on-air.
Highveld FM, a radio station in Johannesburg, hired Mdoda in 2007. She needed a co-host, so Nash was recommended, and for a year, the two hosted a popular weekday evening show.
The two were abducted by national broadcaster 5FM in March 2008. They replaced the F & Martinengo Show, which Ian F and Sasha Martinengo hosted for many years in that time period.
South African radio guru Alex Jay described Anele as “the hottest thing on local radio” in an interview from September 2008.
Anele co-hosted SA’s Got Talent, a reality show based on the British “Got Talent” model, on SABC2 from 2009 to 2010 with Rob van Vuuren. When the program switched to e.tv for Season 3, the duo was replaced by Tats Nkonzo.
The celeb posted herself with a coin between her gap teeth this caused a stir on social media with some claiming that there is nothing more dirty than money and she is putting it in her mouth for content, it is unclear the reason behind this but one must say many were not impressed at all. But still she looked beautiful doing it.
