A devastated father is seeking answers on how his son Katlego Mpholo’s remains ended up in Thabo Bester’s prison cell in Mangaung. Batho Mpholo says that he hoped his son would hsve been found alive.

 

 

 

Katlego Mpholo’s father, Batho Mpholo has a message for Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha. Mpholo has been conducting live interviews with the media since he discovered that his son’s body was used as a decoy during Thabo Bester’s escape from prison. Mpholo says if he had an opportunity to speak to Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana, he would tell them to repent and seek God. “All I can say to them is that they should turn from their wicked ways and find God or he will punish them”, Batho Mpholo said as he wept.

Batho Mpholo wept as he sent the message through Newzroom Afrika journalist, Linda Mnisi. “I would not ask them what happened and I would not even talk bad about what happened. They only have two choices. Repent and seek God”, Batho Mpholo added. The message is very important for Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha to consider. The two have done so many hurtful things that have affected many lives negatively. Indeed they need to find God or face the wrath of the Lord. Indeed at this moment, only God can pardon the couple. As humans we are disgusted and angry at them. We all want answers from them and we are judging them harshly. I wish they could take Batho Mpholo’s message seriously and indeed ask God for forgiveness. Only Him is able to forgive and forget.

Batho Mpholo says he has not been following the Thabo Bester story. “I only followed it when he was arrested in Tanzania. As to when they burned the body… I did not even think it would come this close to me.” The father is indeed devastated. May the God who is able to forgive Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha heal him!
