Thabo Bester and Nandipha Magudumana have been described as “Mzansi’s Bonnie & Clyde”. But while their “love story” is the stuff movies are made of, South Africans are disgusted and disappointed in the medical doctor. Some are left with so many unanswered questions as they try to dig deeper into what could have happened to Dr Nandipha. Where has the little girl inside of her disappeared to!

 

 

 

At the glance of young Dr Nandipha’s pictures, the first impression that comes is that of a bright girl so full of life. The sparkle in her eyes so full of kindness and warmth. One can easily tell that young Dr Nandipha oozed with confidence and was alive with so many possibilities. At the age of nine, Dr Nandipha already knew she wanted to be a doctor and her parents were seemingly proud of her. But that changed the day Facebook rapist, Thabo Bester came into her life. That warm little girl with the most innocent smile changed and became a monster. People are wondering what happened to change her so drastically. “What happened to you. When did you become this heartless evil witch?”, a Twitter user by the name of Zola asked young Dr Nandipha.

Don’t we all ask the very same question? Dr Nandipha appears to be from good family structure and was well educated. A trip down the social media profiles of her family members paints a picture of a loving and closely knit family. Surely love can’t make a person act like this? What happened to that little girl who was loved by her family…parents and siblings?

The now infamous doctor had her life in order…all her ducks were lined up in a row. She went to school, did things right, got married and had two beautiful daughters an a loving husband. But today she is referred to as “disgraced doctor” as she faces multiple charges, including murder. She gave it all up! For what? What happened to that little girl?
