The bond between Dr Nandipha and her father, Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni seems to be very strong and genuine. When the two appeared at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court last week, people were filled with mixed emotions. What stood out was how Dr Nandipha’s father, Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni, warmed the hearts of many with his touching gestures towards his daughter. The sixty-five-year-old father was captured on camera comforting his sobbing daughter by petting her with his hand, and later helping her sit up and sit down as the judge arrived in the courtroom.

Sekeleni’s gestures towards his daughter have gone viral on social media, with many South Africans praising him for being the best father, despite the allegations against them.

Dr Nandipha seems to have a very soft spot for her dad. The infamous doctor has reportedly dared the police to stay away from her father. According to Dr Nandipha, she is ready to face the music alone. “Stay away from my father”, Dr Nandipha told the police. Dr Nandipha apparently did not like how her dad was manhandled by the police. Seeing her aging father in the dock broke her heart and shw had the audacity to tell the police how to do their job . She has a heart after all. In my opinion Dr Nandipha has dared the police because she does not want her father to spend his retirement years in prison. Unfortunately dhe involved her dad into it. She can’t be the one to call the shots! She should’ve left him out of her and Bester’s business if she cared so much.
