Remembering seven Mzansi celebrities who died in road accidents

Many well-known South Africans have died in car accidents, but it always hits the country hard when several celebrities die at once.

There will always be memories of the following South African celebrities who have passed away. To demonstrate our gratitude for the remarkable people they were, would you please hold a moment of silence in their memory?

Murderous Kau

South African rapper, dancer, and record producer Killer Kau (real name: Sakhile Hlatshwayo) passed away in 2016. The song “Tholukuthi Hey” became a huge success in South Africa and brought him widespread recognition.

He was one of the many famous South Africans who died at an early age. It was a tragic loss when Sakhile passed away on August 9, 2021.

Second, Joe Mafela

Joe was one of the oldest performers in South Africa, and he was an actor and comic. On June 25, 1942, Joe Mafela entered this world. He passed away on March 18, 2017.

Third-ranked Mandla Thabethe

In her role as Bhongo on Family Bonds, Madla Thabethe rose to prominence. Mandla’s birth was on January 12, 1928, and his death was on January 31, 2010.

Unlike many of the other famous people named, Mandla died in a motorcycle accident rather than a car crash.

4-Akhumzi Jezile

Number seven, Leslie Manyathela

The South African national team and Orlando Pirates of the Premier Soccer League both used Manyathela as a striker. He was a South African professional soccer player for the Orlando Pirates.

In 2003, Manyathela topped the league with 48 goals for Orlando Pirates, and he only made 73 appearances. That season, he led the league in goals scored.

I can certainly see how this post could reawaken painful memories for some readers. While it’s understandable that discussing death and loss could be difficult, that doesn’t mean we should avoid doing so.

I hope they stay at peace for a very long time. If reading this made you cry, my deepest apologies. I appreciate you reading this, and I hope you’ll consider joining me.
