House of Zwide actor and Gagasi FM presenter, Khaya Dladla, has been opened for the first time about his husband, Mercutio Buthelezi, breaking up.

 

 

Khaya and Mercutio separated in July last year after getting engaged at the Ocean Reef Hotel in Zinkwazi, north of eThekwini in October 2020. At that time, Khaya refused to comment to the media about their separation and the reason that led to the breakup. Speaking on the Lungelo KM Podcast, Khaya said he didn’t want to comment because he didn’t think anyone owed him an explanation, even his relatives.

He went on to say that after it was over between him and his husband, he went to a psychiatrist to find out who was at fault. “It happens that I hit you without knowing that I hit you.”

He said he was like a person who gambled with money because he didn’t believe what they told him. Khaya urged people who love each other not to hide their identity because it will be bad if it comes out.
