After the call that Mazwi had with the kidnappers, he asked them to send him proof that shows that Paul is still alive. The kidnappers did not answer Mazwi because they did not have a plan.

They went to take pictures of Paul and put them in an envelope. They then took the envelope and put it on Mazwi’s car. Mazwi found the envelope on his car in the parking area and he was surprised.

He knew that the envelope was from the kidnappers. He opened the envelope and saw Paul’s pictures. He went home to show Kabisi the pictures of Paul. Kabisi was happy when he realized that Paul was still alive.

Fikile suggested that they look at the CCTV footage so that they can see who put the envelope on Mazwi’s car. They got the CCTV footage. When they looked at the footage, they could not see the face properly. Paul’s girlfriend was spying on them because she wanted to know their every move.
