Lydia Mokgokoloshi, also known as Koko Mantsha on Skeem Saam, is an 83-year-old veteran actress who is Charity’s mother and Katlego’s grandmother. She grew up in a large family with five siblings. Her father was blind, and her mother was the sole provider for the family.
Lydia and her late husband, whom she describes as peaceful in the sense that he would never bite a fly, had only one child, a son. Unfortunately, the son died in 2003 as well.
