Many changes are expected to happen on many South African radio stations on the 1st of April as radio stations will be updating their on air line up, changes are expected in stations like Metro FM, Umhlobo Wenene FM, Ukhozi FM, 5FM, Radio 2000, YFM, Gagasi FM, You FM and many others including local community radio stations.
People always asked why big radio stations do not scouts the talent on local community radio broadcasters, well it seems like those who were complaining about that, they will feel better to find out that an SABC division Umhlobo Wenene FM recruited two brand new voices from Community Radio stations.
According to the source Siya Maxhakane from a Umtata based community radio station Ingwane FM was confirmed to be joining the IsiXhosa broadcasting service, he is not alone taken from a Community radio station as Okuhle Krazile from Engcobo based community radio station Unitra Community Radio Station.

The two presenters said they are very greatful for joining the radio station as they have tried several times to join the station, they also thanked their previous employers for giving them an opportunity to broadcast and gain experience within the industry.
Siya and Okuhle are expected to be heard on Umhlobo Wenene FM from the 1st of April 2023. Congratulations to them and we wish them nothing but the best.
