According to Zalebs, the black espresso has an online value of $60 million, which amounts to R1.1 billion in rand. He is considered to be the second richest person in Africa after Akon.

So how did Black Coffee become a billionaire? The DJ got involved in the music industry in 1994. He became one of Madlala Kunene’s most vocal supporters and one of her friends in college. DJ studied at Technikon Natal, now called Durban College of the Epoque (DUT), where he specializes in jazz research.

He formed a hot African afro-pop group called Shana with Demor and Mnqobi, who signed the contract in 2000. The DJ gained fame when he joined the Pink Bull Tune Academy in 2004. His first hit was “Happy” from the album DJs at Work. He then organized the Soul Train in 2005.

Now he has a total of nine studio albums. His starting fee for the show is currently R200,000 for an intimate show and about R2 million for a global gig.

The DJ is believed to have several homes in South Africa and the United States. In a recent interview, she revealed that she had moved into a room after leaving her matrimonial home. He then gave him a house and later bought his neighbor’s house.

Black Coffee was married to actress Enhle Mbali before her divorce. The couple has two sons together, Anesu and Asante.
