The death of jazz vocalist and guitarist Gloria Bosman, who won multiple awards for her work, has occurred. She had reached the age of fifty. The news of her passing was confirmed to the Daily Sun by her close friend, Mande Music. “I can affirm that she has passed away,” Mande stated further.

Her fans and her family were taken aback by her untimely passing because the singer was always smiling and laughing.

She had just released her debut album, which was titled after her, in February of this year, and she had a number of upcoming interviews and public appearances scheduled.

Her family has not yet commented on the circumstances surrounding her passing, but many of the singer’s colleagues in the industry have expressed their condolences.

After being born in Mofolo, Soweto, Gloria moved with her family to Pimville when she was young.

The well-known singer has established herself as one of the jazz industry’s most respected vocalists, which has helped her build a reputation for herself all over the world.

She has been nominated for and awarded a plethora of accolades, some of which include two South African Music Awards, more than 11 nominations, and two KORA nominations, to name just a few of her accomplishments.

According to Gloria’s biography, her passion for music and her profession both got their starts in the church choir. In 1993, she gave a performance at the Market Theatre, and as a result, she was awarded an opera scholarship to study at what was then known as Pretoria Technikon.

This year, she accepted a position on the board of directors of the Southern African Music Rights Organization, which is abbreviated as Samro.
